Our Story
The Market At Serendip was opened on December 4th, 2008. We relocated to a site on Liberty Street in
Powell in August, 2009, and finally, moved to a lovely building at 30 West Olentangy Street in Powell in
September, 2010.

Our mission, then and now, is to offer local artists the opportunity to display and sell their work in a
warm and friendly environment; while we give customers a pleasant shopping experience. With 40+
artists currently represented, we offer shoppers a wide variety of one-of-a-kind artwork!

The Market offers the following to  discerning shoppers:
  • handcrafted natural soaps
  • elegant silk flower arrangements and wreaths
  • original paintings
  • handmade jewelry
  • photographic art
  • ceramics and pottery
  • windchimes and garden art
  • bags and purses
  • baby gifts
  • handmade scarves and fiber necklaces
  • contemporary home accents, thoughtfully selected by Leslie Panelle of LP Designs
  • original design greeting cards and notecards
  • an ever-changing collection of original treasures!
The gallery's mission is twofold:
to provide local artists and craftspeople a venue in which to exhibit their work,
and to to provide shoppers a delightful-- shall we say serendipitous?-- shopping experience.
